Anyone who knows Rasheed can and will attest that he is bold, honest, respectful, caring, and extremely hardworking. These attributes were installed in him at an early age and are deeply embedded into the fabric of his existence. In every aspect of his life, people have recognized his genuine personality.
Personally, growing up, Rasheed spent many weekends in Evanston Illinois, with his disabled great-grandmother who resided at "Over the Rainbow Association" an assisted living facility for adults with physical disabilities. At church and home, Rasheed was raised on religious morals and values; honesty, integrity, respect, compassion. Rasheed's level of caring and compassion for others was strengthened through his ability to help others alike living within the facility. His community involvement has continued throughout his upbringing.
Academically, Rasheed has always maintained an impressive course load and managed to excel at many tasks set before him. Amongst the many awards, Rasheed graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bradley University in 2016, and was awarded the Fall 2015 Ebeling PR-ize winner, for having the top senior public relations campaign. Rasheed went on to receive his Master of Science from Northwestern University in 2017. He is no stranger to hard work and has always strived for excellence.
